Celebrate National Margarita Day in Ocean City!
Salt or no salt? It doesn’t matter–however you like your margarita, it’s time to drink up! National Margarita Day is February 22, and we could not be more excited to celebrate all weekend long in Ocean City!
We’ve chosen a few of our favorite spots in town to enjoy the perfect margarita. Where’s yours?
Mother’s Cantina
You really can’t go wrong with $3.50 margaritas and $1.75 tacos every day, especially on this nationally celebrated holiday! Mother’s Cantina truly has some of the greatest happy hour deals in town. Enjoy these specials and margarita deals from 4-7pm daily.
Tequila Mockingbird
Enjoy true Mexican food and drinks in an inviting family atmosphere. House margaritas are only $5 during Happy Hour (Sunday-Friday) from 3-6pm. Enjoy their $5 house margaritas on Wednesdays, too, for Taco Night from 3-11pm. If you haven’t already, check out the new West Ocean City location!
Guido’s Burritos
Take a trip to Mexico City! Find authentic foods, inviting aromas and an upbeat “fiesta” atmosphere while you enjoy some of the tastiest margaritas in town. Unfortunately, Guidos Burritos is closed for the season, but we couldn’t leave them off the list. Throughout the summer, Guido’s is open til 2am with a live DJ, tasty food and drinks, and lots of excitement.
Longboard Cafe
At Longboard, you’ll find a truly “Perfect” Margarita, as they say in the name of the drink! The Perfect Margarita consists of Patron Anejo, Citronge, sour, OJ, nd a Grand Mariner floater. They also have a unique selection of other types of margaritas including Cucumber Jalapeno, Prickly Pear, the Silver Surfer with watermelon-infused tequila, and more.

The purpose of a salt rim is to bring out the sweet and sour flavors of the drink. Even just a pinch will help subdue the bitterness and enhance the important flavors. On top of that, salt intensifies your perception of the drink’s aromas, making the flavors even more powerful!
