Celebrating Mother’s Day in Ocean City
Do you remember walking along the boardwalk with your parents when you were a child, begging for one of the boardwalk’s many tempting snacks and riding rides? Perhaps your duty was to hop out of the car and stand in a parking space to hold it as your parents drove around, getting extra points if you found one with money still on the meter. Or maybe you developed your own traditions when you came to Ocean City with your children and want to share those with your parents. Perhaps you’ve never been to Ocean City, and want to discover it with your family. Whether you’re Ocean City veterans or newcomers, Mother’s Day is the perfect time to visit. The weather is perfect for strolling the boardwalk, playing a game of mini golf and enjoying outdoor bars. The businesses are opening and looking their best after winter renovations. From 7:00am – 1:00pm Horizon’s will be hosting a Mother’s Day Breakfast Buffet for $14.95 for adults, and $9.95 for children aged 4 – 12. From 1:00pm – 8:00pm they will be hosting a Mother’s Day dinner buffet. The cost is $24.95 for adults and $17.95 for children 4 – 12. Children 3 and under are free for both breakfast and dinner.
If you prefer to order a la carte, Sunset Grille offers a number of special dishes for Mother’s Day. We’re having some trouble deciding between the Steakhouse Special and Lemon Poppy Seed Waffle.
Enjoy a brunch buffet at the top of the Fenwick Inn with live music by Blind Wind. Adults $21.95 and Children 10 and Under $10.95.
Anyone that is familiar with the Fins brunch knows that it is something special, and definitely worth the short drive to the adorable town of Berlin. Usually their brunch menu is a la carte, but on Mother’s Day enjoy their amazing brunch in the buffet style. Reservations are suggested.
What could be better than a trip for two to Napa Valley for your Mom for Mother’s Day? Greene Turtle is hosting a contest that could make that possible!
