OCEAN CITY — The Art League of Ocean City (ALOC) will host its 9th annual Sand Castle Home Tour on Sept. 19-20.

The self-guided home tour of 10 unique residences in the Ocean City area is held from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. This year there is a wide variety of homes from a bachelor pad to a family beach home to a luxury condo.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to view some of the finest homes in South Point, West Ocean City and all over Ocean City.

This year’s tour also marks the 50th anniversary of the ALOC, which started the Sand Castle Home Tour nine years ago to raise funds for the non-profit to be able to relocate into a new building. The Art League now calls the Ocean City Center for the Arts, home.

Located on 94st Street bayside, this state-of-the-art, 7,500-square-foot building has beautiful galleries, studios, classrooms and a pottery studio.

“After many years of fundraising, the Art League of OC finally saw all our hard work come to fruition with the March 1 grand opening of the new Ocean City Center for the Arts,” said Rina Thaler, executive director of the OC Center for the Arts.

The tour will kick off with a cocktail party sponsored by the Gateway Grand at the home of Jim and Jan Perdue on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 6-8 pm. Reservations for the cocktail party are $75 per person and may be purchased by calling the ALOC at 410-524-9433 or online at www.artleagueofoceancity.org.

The cost of the two-day home tour is $30 and tickets may also be purchased from the ALOC.
