BERLIN- After dropping two close games to start the season, Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity soccer team has now reeled off three straight wins including a 7-0 rout of Snow Hill on the road on Monday.

The Seahawks opened the 2014 season with a pair of 2-1 losses to North Caroline and Pocomoke. Since then, the Decatur boys have won three straight games, allowing just one goal in the process. Decatur got in the win column last week with a 2-0 win over Mardela. Last Friday, the Seahawks beat Crisfield, 4-1.

At home on Monday, Decatur blanked county rival Snow Hill on the road, 7-0. Lupe Garcia led the way with a hat trick, while Alton Walker scored two goals. Corey Gwin and Coale Davidson added single tallies. The Seahawks faced Washington on the road yesterday in a game played too late to be included in this edition. Decatur will return home on Monday for a game against Parkside at Seahawk Stadium.
