For as long as I can remember I have had people suggest I write a book. Honestly I live a very normal life so I don’t quite understand it but I do love to share my thoughts so I figured what’s the harm? Even if nobody ever reads it I will enjoy writing it. Now writing a book on any one topic won’t work for me. Being a true Gemini I can’t even focus long enough on one topic let alone write a whole book on one. So I am going to write a few short unfinished chapters (cant kill the blog page with too much info!!) based on my life and I have chosen my friends blog to test them out. You will find I tend to speak in a little bit of a “Chelsea Handler” style as well as “Rick Warren”. As the weeks go by, I may make you think, laugh or even be bored but I can promise you everything I say is from the heart and strictly my opinion. SOOO…

Chapter 1.

Nine months before I was born, I went to a party with my dad and left with my mom. You could say that maybe I was the fastest swimmer in the group or maybe the strongest, but either way that’s where the 9 long months started. When I finally saw the light, I came out talking and haven’t stopped since. I was born on May 27, 1974 in a Naval hospital in Charleston SC. My father was a graduate of the USNA and spent 5 years back and forth in a submarine. We only spent the first year of my life in SC, moving to Bowie MD when I was a year. My mother was born and raised in Farmington Hills Michigan. By this time she had me and my older brother Kirk at the young age of 21. My little brother Brock was born 4 years later. I don’t remember too much from this time of my life, but I remember very vividly the smell of my pops garage. Odd. I also remember him holding me by my feet in the air standing upright, one of his many talents. I come from a very large family. My mother is 1 of 8, my father 1 of 4 and my grandmother 1 of 14. Needless to say it takes a farm to make our family tree. I am extremely blessed to have grown up surrounded by so much love…

Until next week…

Xoxo
