The Nut House opened its doors in the spring of 2002 on the Boardwalk and 1st Street in downtown Ocean City, Maryland. The Bakie family has been in the nut business for over a decade, primarily selling their own recipe cinnamon crunch nuts at renaissance festivals and other large venues. Michele Bakie takes pride in making her tasty cinnamon crunch nuts from only the freshest, all natural ingredients, with no preservatives, fats or oils added.
