Artists and Crafters alike, get ready for the very first Indie Craft Art Bazaar to be held this year on the grounds of the Richardson Maritime Museum in Cambridge, MD. Scheduled for Saturday, October 8th, this event is set to feature a broad range of items for sale from very approachable items priced at $20.00+ to high dollar specialty pieces crafted by professionals.

The Indie Craft Art Bazaar is the brain-child of local Easton natives, Colleen Brighton and Jillian Draper. What originally was planned as a pop-up art show with two or three artists has become a full arts and craft show modeled after similar events that are held in Philadelphia and Washington DC. Brighton and Draper could not choose just a limited number of artists so they decided to open it up to all artists located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US. We were fortunate enough to get a sneak peek of the vendors who will be in attendance at the Indie Craft Art Bazaar and we can assure you that you are in for a real treat!

Hand Crafted Soaps | Recycled Goods | Hand Cut and Soldered Glass Terrariums for Succulent Gardens

Screen Printed T-Shirts and Tote Bags | Sea Glass Aromatherapy Jewelry | Beaded Jewelry | Oil Paintings

Mermaid Prints | Hand Painted Crab Shells | Hand Painted Note Cards | Hand Woven Baskets and More

Most of the artists that you will see at this show are from the state of Maryland, but you just may see artists from out of state as vendors are still signing up. If you know an artist or crafter who may be a perfect fit for this show, please encourage them to visit the ICAB website to register today!

Other activities that deserve mention will be the Kid’s Crafts hosted at the local art museum in Easton, MD. Brighton and Draper are currently working on lining up live entertainment, beer & wine sales, and a pop-up farmer’s market for the show on October 8th. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for recent show updates and information that will certainly be handy for this inaugural event. Also, while you are sharing this information with your friends, be sure to use the #icabmd to spread the word. We’ll see you there!
