This week, for reason that make sense if you hear the whole story, I had to sneak into a movie. By colluding with my brother I was able to see “The World’s End” which was wonderful and also worth seeing.
We debuted a new segment this week called Tourist Trap wherein we discuss tourism news such as it is and such as we find it. Among the stories we covered this week was the notion of Tourist Police. In the Philippines, tourist police act as a legal/cultural guide for tourists who have lost their way, either behaviorally or literally.
Todd imagined what the Ocean City Tourist Police Department (OCTPD) might look like and suggested the job be given to those members of the Ocean City Beach Patrol who had no better plans over the winter.
In his State of the Beer, Bryan Brushmiller provided talked about his most recent foray into the candy business. The carmel in Pam Bier, a new carmel coffee porter, was made in-house, as was the rock-candy to be used in an upcoming release.
