Weekends on the Eastern Shore in the summertime are always crowded, packed with festivities and revolving largely around sharing our local towns with the many tourists that come over the Bay Bridge every Friday afternoon. Fortunately for us locals, we are happily welcoming a weekend when not too much is going on! Weekends like this are far and few between and we are planning on taking full advantage of the (hopefully) mild summer weather. Don’t get us wrong, just because it’s not Fourth of July Weekend doesn’t mean there isn’t more than enough to fill your weekend with all sorts of fun plans. This July weekend includes a little bit of everything, from local businesses duking it out in bathtubs races to a local fair that offers much more than fried Twinkies. Happy middle of July everyone!
